Edmonton Oilers star forward Leon Draisaitl has characterized himself as a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Vancouver Canucks on Friday.

Coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters on Thursday that Draisaitl was day-to-day, but did not get into specifics about his injury.

Draisaitl left Wednesday’s opener of the second-round series for an undisclosed reason in the second period but ultimately returned for the third to finish out the game.

“Just some cramping,” Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters after Game 1. “Between cramping and some equipment issues, that’s why his ice time was down.”

Draisaitl, 28, has 12 points so far in six playoff games.
