After missing Game 1 of the Edmonton Oilers‘ second-round series against the Vancouver Canucks and returning for Game 2, Adam Henrique is out of the lineup again for Game 3.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch confirmed at the morning skate that the 34-year-old forward will not play Sunday and that Connor Brown will draw back in after missing Game 2.
Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 2: Canucks vs. OilersHenrique, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, registered two points in Edmonton’s first-round series win over the Los Angeles Kings.
He had six goals and nine points in 22 games with the Oilers after being acquired from the Anaheim Ducks at the trade deadline.
Sunday will mark Brown’s second appearance over these playoffs. The 30-year-old winger had four goals and 12 points in 71 games for the Oilers over the regular season.
