The Edmonton Oilers are going with a change between the pipes for Game 4 against the Vancouver Canucks.

Calvin Pickard confirmed he is starting in goal Tuesday after the morning skate. He gets the nod over Stuart Skinner.

This will be Pickard’s first career start in the Stanley Cup Playoffs after he entered in relief of Skinner in Game 3.

After a strong series against the Los Angeles Kings, Skinner has been shaky in Round 2, with save percentages below .900 for Games 1 and 2. He was in net when the Canucks mounted their improbable three-goal comeback in Game 1.

“We need more saves,” Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters after Game 3.

In seven playoff games this year, Skinner has a 2.96 goals-against average and a .888 save percentage.

In 23 regular-season appearances, Pickard has 12 wins and posted a 2.45 goals-against average and a .909 save percentage.
