Oilers’ Adam Henrique remains out for Game 7

The Edmonton Oilers will continue to be without an important depth piece for Game 7 against the Vancouver Canucks.

Veteran centre Adam Henrique will not be in the lineup Monday, head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters.

Henrique has played in just one game in the series — Game 3 — due to an ankle injury. The 34-year-old has two points in six playoff games.

The Oilers acquired Henrique and centre Sam Carrick from the Anaheim Ducks at the trade deadline. Carrick had been a healthy scratch during the series but was inserted into the lineup for Game 6 in place of Corey Perry.

The Oilers and Canucks will play a winner-take-all Game 7 on Monday night in Vancouver. You can watch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ beginning at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT.
