The Dallas Stars will be without Roope Hintz when they take on the Edmonton Oilers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Final.

The 27-year-old forward suffered an upper-body injury in Game 4 of the Stars’ second-round series against the Colorado Avalanche and has not played since.

Dallas head coach Pete DeBoer said that Hintz remains day-to-day but that he’s “getting closer, hopeful for Game 2.”

Hintz has two goals and four assists in 11 games this post-season.
