Dallas Stars centre Roope Hintz will be a game-time decision to suit up Saturday for Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the Edmonton Oilers.

Hintz, who was on the ice for the team’s optional morning skate, has been out of the lineup since leaving Game 4 of the Stars’ second-round series against the Colorado Avalanche due to an upper-body injury.

The 27-year-old from Nokia, Finland, has recorded two goals and four assists in 11 playoff games.

Hintz was tied for third on the team in scoring during the regular season with 65 points (30 goals and 35 assists) in 80 games.

He had a team-leading 24 points in 19 games during the post-season last year.
