Edmonton Oilers left wing Warren Foegele will draw back into the lineup for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers on Saturday night.
Foegele, who not dressed since Game 3 of the Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars, is projected to play on the third line alongside centre Ryan McLeod and right wing Corey Perry.
The 28-year-old from Markham, Ont., went through an 11-game point drought during the playoffs and has one goal and two assists in 15 contests during the post-season.
Foegele played in all 82 games of the regular season and recorded 20 goals and 21 assists for 41 points.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch also confirmed defenceman Philip Broberg will remain in the lineup for Game 1.
Broberg dressed for the final three games of the series against the Stars and recorded his first career playoff goal during the Oilers’ 3-1 victory in Game 5.
The 22-year-old from Orebro, Sweden, had two assists in 12 games during the regular season.
