The Florida Panthers reached the Stanley Cup Finals for the second year straight, and after three games against the Edmonton Oilers, they looked to be cruising to their first-ever Stanley Cup Championship.

The Panthers won the first two games at home, and when the series switched to Edmonton, they also managed to win Game 3.

But since, the Oilers have looked like a different team, and mainly thanks to Connor McDavid, the Oilers have now narrowed the Panthers’ series lead to 3-2.

Connor McDavid became the first player in NHL history to record two straight four-point games in the Cup Final, and now, the pressure is on the Panthers as we’re headed to Edmonton for Game 6.

Zach Hyman now says exactly what everyone is thinking about Connor McDavid’s record-breaking performance in Game 5

Connor McDavid scored the last goal of the game on Tuesday, as he managed to get the puck into an empty net to seal Edmonton’s win.

And in the stands, Panthers GM Bill Zito was all but happy.

The cameras managed to pick up Zito as frustration got the best of him, and he completely lost it and threw a water bottle to the ground.

Zito didn’t hold back with his throw, and it got launched with some serious force before Zito stormed away.

The Panthers had the chance to win their first-ever Stanley Cup in Game 4, but the Oilers avoided being swept after a blowout 8-1 win.

With the series now switching back to Edmonton for Game 6, it certainly feels like momentum has turned in the Oilers’ favor, and perhaps Zito released just that, which led to the water bottle being thrown.

On social media, there was no shortage of reactions and jokes about the incident on the stands.

”Think of all the Miami clubs they had booked for their after party tonight and now they gotta go back to Canada lol,” one user said.

”Note, don’t be a water bottle in the presence of a GM. This is a repeated pattern now,” another said.

”The owner, on the other hand, is thrilled about another possible home game,” a third added.

”He might kill someone if Florida somehow loses the cup again,” a fourth said.
