Evander Kane‘s status for Game 6 remains up in the air.

Edmonton Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch told reporters that the veteran forward is a game-time decision but admitted that Kane has looked better.

Kane skated on a line with scratches Sam Gagner and Sam Carrick on Thursday, which suggested that he might not be ready to return.

However, at the team’s optional morning skate on Friday, forward Dylan Holloway remained on the ice with the potential scratches, which would suggest he could come out of the lineup for Kane.

The 32-year-old has missed the last three games as he continues to deal with a sports hernia. Kane has four goals and eight in 20 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
