Hopefully everyone involved in the Stanley Cup Final is collecting frequent flyer miles.

Against all odds, the Panthers and Oilers are once again hopping on an international flight as they head to South Florida for a historic, conclusive, winner-take-all sixty minutes.

Prior to the Oilers, only nine times in NHL history has a team come back down 3-0 to force a Game 7 and only twice has it come in the Stanley Cup Final.

No bigger spot than right now and Oilers fans reacted accordingly. The cheers in Rogers Place could be heard from Scotiabank Saddledome and it’s clear that anyone in Edmonton won’t be getting sleep until the wee hours of the night.
