Edmonton has agreed to terms with forward Cameron Wright on a one-year, two-way contract worth $952,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Monday.
Wright, 26, spent last season with the Bakersfield Condors, Edmonton’s AHL affiliate. He tallied 12 goals and nine assists in 48 games and appeared in two playoff outings for the team.
The Newmarket, Ont., native also appeared in four games with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL, picking up four goals and one assist.
While playing for the University of Denver Pioneers in the 2021-22 season, Wright picked up 23 goals and 11 assists en route to an NCAA Division I National Championship.
