St. Louis Blues defenseman Philip Broberg will miss four-to-six weeks, head coach Drew Bannister said Monday, according to The Athletic's Jeremy Rutherford.

Broberg appeared to hurt his right leg on a collision with Mitch Marner during a win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night. The Blues referred to it as a lower-body injury.

The 23-year-old blue-liner was enjoying a breakout season with nine points (including seven assists) in 12 games.

St. Louis nabbed Broberg from the Edmonton Oilers by signing both him and forward Dylan Holloway to offer sheets their former club opted not to match in August.
