The Edmonton Oilers recalled forward Drake Caggiula from the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors on Thursday.
Caggiula has played in two games this season with the Oilers, recording an assist, and has also played in 11 games in the AHL, scoring five goals and nine points.
The move comes after Zach Hyman left the Oilers’ game Tuesday against the Senators in the second period after colliding with Ottawa defenceman Nick Jensen.
Edmonton has also been without forward Viktor Arvidsson, who has been sidelined for the last four games with an undisclosed injury.
