What NHL games are on tonight? The 2024-’25 NHL season is officially here with the puck dropping in October on another exciting path to the Stanley Cup Playoff. Here you can find the full NHL schedule this season, information on the NHL games today, and how to watch the NHL tonight.
There are nine NHL games today. The puck drops on Thursday’s NHL schedule at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN+ with the Florida Panthers vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs. At 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN+/Hulu/Disney+, the Edmonton Oilers take on the New Jersey Devils. To close out the night at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Washington Capitals face off against the Los Angeles Kings.

There is no NHL All-Star Game this year. Taking its place will be the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off, which will be held in Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States in February.

The NHL trade deadline this year is on March 7, 2025, at 3 PM EDT. All trades must be submitted to the league office by the 3:00 PM EDT deadline.

The 2025 NHL Draft will take place in the summer of 2025, but no date has been set yet.
