The Edmonton Oilers are making a change in goal for Game 3.
Calvin Pickard was not on the ice for Saturday’s morning skate, and Stuart Skinner confirmed to reporters that he will be in the net against the Vegas Golden Knights.
Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said Pickard is day-to-day.
Skinner has not played since Game 2 against the Los Angeles Kings after getting replaced by Pickard. He allowed 11 goals on 58 shots in the first two games of the first round against the Kings.
Since taking over in net, Pickard helped the Oilers turn the series around against Los Angeles and has won his last six starts.
The Oilers have a 2-0 series lead against the Golden Knights and return home looking to go 3-0.
