Oilers’ Connor Brown game-time decision for Game 1 vs. Stars

The Edmonton Oilers might be missing some secondary scoring as they kick off their series against the Dallas Stars.

Right winger Connor Brown is a game-time decision for Game 1, Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch announced Wednesday.

Brown tallied 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in 82 games during the regular season and has added seven points (four goals, three assists) so far in the playoffs.

The 31-year-old did not skate this morning, with Viktor Arvidsson taking his place on the third line with Evander Kane and Adam Henrique.

Matthias Ekholm took a regular shift at practice but will not play in the first two games of the series, and Calvin Pickard did not join the team in Dallas while he continues to rehab, according to Sportsnet’s Mark Spector.
