Mere hours after the Edmonton Oilers sent a shockwave through the hockey world with the surprise swap of Stuart Skinner for Tristan Jarry, an even bigger ripple has been felt.

The Vancouver Canucks have traded Quinn Hughes to the Minnesota Wild, ending months of speculation surrounding the former Norris trophy winner’s future with the team.
