Oilers’ Jarry exits vs. Bruins, Pickard comes in

Tristan Jarry‘s night appears to be over.

The Edmonton Oilers‘ goalie left Thursday’s game against the Boston Bruins mid-way through the second period and was subsequently replaced by backup Calvin Pickard.

Jarry made 12 saves on 13 shots in 36:08 of ice time before exiting.

The 30-year-old’s status is unclear at this time, but it appeared as though Jarry may have tweaked something in his lower body while moving across his net on a routine play.

The starting netminder eventually skated off the ice and was seen stretching in the tunnel before heading back to the locker room area. Edmonton led 2-1 at the time of Jarry’s exit.

Thursday’s contest was Jarry’s third appearance with the Oilers since the team acquired him from the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for Stuart Skinner.

Jarry entered the contest with a .905 save percentage and 2.77 GAA through 16 games split between the two teams this season.
