Oilers place Jarry on IR, recall Ingram

The Edmonton Oilers placed goaltender Tristan Jarry on injured reserve and recalled netminder Connor Ingram, the team announced Friday.

Jarry exited Thursday's 3-1 win against the Boston Bruins in the second period with an apparent lower-body injury. He didn't return to the game.

Jarry was making his third start since the Oilers acquired him Dec. 12 for goaltender Stuart Skinner, defenseman Brett Kulak, and a 2029 second-round pick. He's traveling back to Edmonton to be evaluated by doctors, reports Sportsnet's Mark Spector.

The 30-year-old has won all three games he's played with the Oilers and has an .887 save percentage since arriving in Edmonton.

Backup Calvin Pickard stopped all 12 shots he faced in relief of Jarry. He owns an .858 save percentage and a 3.91 goals against average in 12 appearances this season.

Ingram, who was acquired by Edmonton just before the season from the Utah Mammoth for future considerations, has an .856 SV% and a 4.04 GAA in 11 games with the AHL's Bakersfield Condors.

The Oilers are 17-12-6 and third in the Pacific Division.
