The Edmonton Oilers have added a pair of forwards from their farm system.
Ike Howard and Quinn Huston have both been recalled from AHL Bakersfield, the Oilers announced on Friday.
Max Jones was loaned to the Condors in a corresponding move after recording one goal and one assist over an eight-game NHL stint.
Howard, a 21-year-old rookie, has three points in 17 games with the Oilers this season.
Selected 31st overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, Howard has notched 23 points (10 goals, 13 assists) in 16 games with Bakersfield this season. He won the Hobey Baker Award as the NCAA’s top men’s hockey player last season.
Hutson, 24, has suited up for five total NHL games with the Oilers over the last two seasons, registering one goal. The eldest brother of Lane and Cole Hutson, Quinn has tallied 32 points (19 goals, 13 assists) in 26 games with the Condors.
The pair could get their chance to hit the ice when the Oilers host the Philadelphia Flyers on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT.
